We first arrived in Peru on November 1, 1985, and located in the city of Ica, 180 miles south of the capital Lima. There were just three of us then, Aleks was 1 year old at the time. We labored there for 5 years, our attention being focused on the development of Camp Betel, a summer Bible camp for the use of the believers. Before leaving our second and third sons, Chas and Bryan had been born. In 1990 we moved to the northern city of Chiclayo. Michaela was the answer to many prayers, she was born in March of 1996 and the Lord blessed us with her that July. She is now the only one at home with us, as the boys have all gone away to school.  In September of  2004 the Lord blessed us with Josi and Lucy, sisters by birth but orphaned several years ago, they are now part of our family. Aleks married Kelly from Ica July 15th, 2006, and so our family continues to grow.
